1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the rules and boundaries that apply when you use any JoyX LLC product, service, or workspace. This policy exists to protect the security, integrity, and availability of JoyX services for all users.
2. Permitted Use
JoyX services are designed for lawful professional and personal use. You may use JoyX products within the scope defined by your workspace agreement, for legitimate business operations, research, knowledge management, and security tooling. You are expected to use our services in a manner that respects other users and the integrity of the platform.
3. Prohibited Activities
You must not use JoyX services to: violate any applicable law, regulation, or legal obligation; transmit malware, viruses, or any other malicious code; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any JoyX system, workspace, or user account; circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security feature, permission model, or access control; scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access JoyX services beyond authorized API usage; transmit unsolicited communications, spam, or phishing content through JoyX services; impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; use JoyX services to develop competing products by reverse-engineering our proprietary technology; store or process content that violates applicable data protection laws; or engage in any activity that disrupts or degrades the performance or availability of our services.
4. Agent and Automation Use
When using JoyX products that support agent workflows: agents must operate within their assigned permission scope; automated actions must not bypass human approval checkpoints where they are configured; agent credentials must not be shared between workspaces without explicit authorization; automated workflows must respect rate limits and resource boundaries; and agent actions that affect data outside the authorized workspace scope are strictly prohibited.
5. Content Standards
Content stored or processed through JoyX workspace products must not include: material that infringes intellectual property rights of any third party; content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, or harassing; data that you do not have the legal right to store or process; or content that violates the privacy rights of any individual. JoyX does not monitor user content proactively but reserves the right to review and remove content that violates this AUP when brought to our attention.
6. Enforcement
JoyX reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations of this AUP. Actions may include: issuing a warning; suspending access to specific features or products; terminating workspace access; and reporting violations to appropriate law enforcement authorities. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking enforcement action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the security or integrity of our services.
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to contact@joyx.io. We will review all reports and take appropriate action.
8. Changes to This Policy
JoyX may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to workspace clients. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For questions about this Acceptable Use Policy, contact us at contact@joyx.io.
