This Cookie Policy explains how JoyX LLC ("JoyX") uses cookies and similar technologies on the joyx.io website. We are committed to being transparent about the technologies we use and giving you a clear understanding of what is stored on your device when you visit our site.

The JoyX public website uses only browser localStorage for two functional preferences: your theme selection (light or dark mode), stored under the key "joyx-theme"; and your language preference (English or Chinese), stored under the key "joyx-locale." These values are stored entirely on your device, are never transmitted to any server, and are used only to restore your preferences when you return to the site.

JoyX does not use: HTTP cookies of any kind on the public website; analytics or tracking cookies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar, etc.); advertising or retargeting cookies; social media tracking pixels; third-party cookies of any kind; fingerprinting or any other cross-site identification technology. We do not participate in any advertising networks or data exchanges.

The JoyX public website loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which is the only external resource loaded. Google Fonts may set cookies according to Google's own privacy policy, which is outside JoyX's control. No other third-party services, scripts, or resources are loaded on the public website.

JoyX workspace products may use cookies or similar technologies for session management and authentication as necessary to provide the service. Cookie usage within workspace products is documented in the specific workspace agreement and product documentation provided at workspace setup.

You can clear your theme and language preferences at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for joyx.io. You can also use your browser's developer tools to view and delete these specific values. Since we only store functional preferences, clearing them will simply reset your theme and language to the defaults (light mode, English).
